A Note for Parents and Adults

FAITH IS INHERITED. The boys carried the jars. Your children watch how YOU call on God in YOUR creditor moments. That is their first theology lesson. DON'T HIDE THE CRISIS. She shut the door, but she brought her sons INSIDE. Hide the panic - share the prayer. Let them see you go to God before you go to Google. GOD STILL FILLS JARS. Mortgage. Redundancy. A child going off the rails. A diagnosis. The 2 Kings 4 God is your God on Monday morning, not just on Sunday. Ask yourself: - What 'creditor' is at my door this week? - What 'little oil' has God already given me? - Have I asked Him for too few jars? - Am I obeying, or only waiting to feel ready? Mums, dads, aunties, grandparents - your children are collecting jars by watching you. The most powerful sermon in your house this week is the one they see, not the one they hear.
