On the road to Jericho
Jesus said: "A man was travelling from Jerusalem down to Jericho. It was a long, lonely road through the desert hills.
Suddenly - robbers jumped out. They beat him, stole everything he had, and left him on the side of the road, half-dead.
Now he just lay there, hurt and alone, hoping someone - anyone - would help him."
Did you know? The road from Jerusalem to Jericho really existed. It was about 17 miles long and famous for being dangerous - robbers often hid in the rocky hills along the way.
