Two people walk right past
First, a PRIEST came down the road. A priest works in God's temple. If anyone should help, it should be him.
But when he saw the hurt man... he crossed to the other side and walked past.
Then a LEVITE came along. Levites also worked in God's temple. Surely THIS one would stop.
But he did the same thing. Crossed over. Walked past.
Two religious men. Both knew the law by heart. Both walked away.
Lesson: Knowing the right thing is not the same as doing it.
