[Leader — to confirm]
The Father’s Day Team is the counterpart to the Mother’s Day Team. It plans and prepares the annual Father’s Day service — the programme, the gifts for the fathers and father-figures of the congregation, and the celebration of fatherhood within the church family.
The 2015 Anniversary Booklet does not contain a stand-alone chapter on the Father’s Day Team and the historical sources contain no separate material on it. The current structure, membership and leadership should be confirmed with the team. (Drawing on the Men’s Fellowship history may help — the “Men’s Own” meeting started in 1904, the Young Men’s Society began in 1893, and the Men’s Fellowship in its present Sunday-afternoon form was restarted in June 1989.)
Sources: minimal — material to be drawn from conversation with the team.
