While Jonah was sailing away, God sent a great storm. The waves got huge. The wind got fierce. The boat was about to break. The sailors were terrified. Each one cried out to his own god - but nothing happened. Where was Jonah? Asleep below deck. When we run from God, things get stormy. But God does not give up on us. He sends the storm because He LOVES us - to get our attention before we go too far.
