Step 3: PRAY (inside the dark)
Inside the fish - in the dark, with the smell of the sea around him - Jonah finally did the thing he should have done at the start.
He prayed.
"From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his God."
It is never too late to pray. Even if you have run for miles. Even if you have made huge mistakes. Even if you feel swallowed up by your worries - you can pray, right where you are.
Lesson: God hears prayer from everywhere. Even from inside a fish.
